Foyer is made by Florent Berrez.

I am an independent software developer based in Paris, France. I design and build Foyer for Mac and iPhone.

Why I built it

Most ambient-sound apps treat a mix as a stack of volume sliders. I wanted it to feel like a place. In Foyer, each sound sits around you. Distance controls volume. Direction controls where you hear it.

Foyer is deliberately small. There is no account, advertising, or subscription. Core playback works offline, and the one-time unlock covers both Apple platforms.
